Last Wednesday morning I taught a fantastic group of mamas babywearing ballet. It was so nice to be back in the studio & at the barre. It was even nicer to have baby George with me! We started with a standard barre warm-up and then moved to some work in centre and then across the floor.
All the babies really enjoyed the class too (ranging from 6 weeks old to 12 months old). Dancing mimics the movement they felt while in the womb & the carriers keep them close to our hearts.
We will be offering more babywearing ballet classes in the future…..stay tuned!
